What is the Truth for your Twenties Podcast?

The short of the story is, I was a heartbroken and hungover sorority girl looking for love in all the wrong frat boys (some of y'all know what that's like). I found myself spring of my senior year of college with the guy I thought I was going to marry breaking up with me, no plan B, and no clue what I was going to do next.

After I couldn't cry anymore a friend invited me to a Bible study (weeks ago I wouldn't be caught dead at a Bible study) but there I heard the woman at the well story found in John 4. It's the longest recorded conversation with Jesus and he was talking to a heartbroken girl….just like me.

It's the story that lead me to church for the first real-time and changed my life. The next person I dated was my husband. We have been married 18 years and have two daughters. My past coupled with God giving us two girls ignited a fire in me to be who I needed when I was younger. This passion has led to speaking, writing, podcasting, and acting a fool on the internet all to help who I used to be.
